EEx d II°- c T6 (explosion proof model)
It is a detector built for special use in explosion-proof environments. It’s function and detection qualities are similar to the ARDEA S and SF models. The differences are related to the mechanical construction, made entirely of aluminium, and in the construction of the housings for the optics and electronics made entirely of die-cast metal. The housing meets all ATEX standards regarding resistance to the internal and external effects of an explosion. In fact, the EMHA 9.22 housing complies with classes Z1-2-21-22. In order to function, this detector must mandatorily be associated with an interface, also produced by Setronic. The detector analysis board and its functions can be found under the UDC label so that it is compatible with any control unit available on the market as regards the signal produced by the detector for fire or fault alarms.
The two signals are processed separately with two different electrical criteria; the test function can be carried out from the circuit board itself. The UTA and ADM calibration and testing instruments must also be used for this model.
