Optical beam smoke and fire detectors
The smoke beam detectors must comply with the EN54-12
As smoke beam detector is intended a device of fire detection that use the attenuation and/or the modulation of one or more optical beams. The detector must be composed at least by a transmitter and one or more receiver so as a unique device with Transmiter/Receiver and one or more reflectors.
The beam detectors use as chamber of analysis the surroundings in which they are installed. For this reason, compared to other system, they grant a more prompt detection and a complete coverage of the protected areas. As beam detector is intended a fire detection device for internal use, in two different configurations:
- Tx transmitter unit of beam emission and RX receiver unit
- Transmitter/receiver unit and reflection unit
